- Empowerment of students through imparting updated knowledge and skills in Botany and inculcation of values and aptitude for global competence.
- Department mainly has its focus on promoting research activities.
MISSION:
- To mould the students as responsible citizens with intellectual excellence and integrity
- To facilitate optimum use of human and natural resources for sustainable development.
- To adopt student-centric and ICT enabled teaching, learning & evaluation methods
- To instil research aptitude by involving the students in study projects and in community orientation projects through extension activities.
- To upgrade the Lab equipment and learning resources in accordance with the enrichment of curriculum
- To conduct skill-oriented certificate courses to encourage the students as Entrepreneurs.
