Department Profile
The department of Telugu was established in the year 1984. Offers second language for all UG courses, and B.A Telugu literature Presently the Department has 60 seats for Advanced Telugu / Honours course. The department of conducts classes according to the syllabus provided by the SriKrishnadevaraya University.
Informative lecturers along with ample study materials are provided by the faculty members to the students which has helped the department to maintain a consistent record of academic success over the years. Students in the department are encouraged to pursue higher studies to enhance their knowledge and complete in various national and state level competitive examinations (Pst Graduation, APPSC, DSC, TPT etc.) Lecturers also engaged in research and academic activities.
To provide the Telugu literature, Linguistics and Human values knowledge.
తెలుగు విభాగము
ప్రభుత్వ డిగ్రీ కళాశాల కళ్యాణదుర్గం నందు తెలుగు విభాగము కళాశాల ప్రారంభమైన నాటి ( 1984) నుండి కొనసాగుతున్నది. కళాశాలలో తెలుగు విభాగం ద్వారా అన్ని గ్రూపులకు సాధారణంగా ఉన్న (యునివర్సిటీ నిర్దేశించిన) సిలబస్ మొదటి రెండు సంవత్సరములలో బోధించడం జరుగుతుంది. సుమారుగా కళాశాలలో చదువుతున్న 95% పైబడిన విద్యార్థులు అందరూ తెలుగు విభాగము ద్వారా విద్యను అభ్యసిస్తున్నారు.
అలాగే కళాశాలలో తెలుగు విభాగం ద్వారా స్పెషల్ తెలుగు లేక అడ్వాన్స్డ్ తెలుగు అనే ఒక ప్రత్యేక గ్రూప్ కలదు. ఈ గ్రూపు ద్వారా విద్యార్థులు సాధారణ తెలుగు సబ్జెక్టుతోపాటు స్పెషల్ తెలుగు పేపర్ ను కూడా అదనంగా చదవవలసి ఉంటుంది. ఈ కోర్సు ద్వారా నేర్చుకొన్న అంశాలను విద్యార్థిని, విద్యార్థులు భవిష్యత్తులో నవలలు, రచనలు, కవితలు, గేయాలు, పద్యాలు, కావ్యాలు, గ్రంథాలు, తెలుగు ఆధ్యాపకులు, ఉపాధ్యయులు, ప్రింట్ మీడియా, ఎలక్ట్రానిక్ మీడియా, సినిమా రంగంలో, కాంటెంట్ రైటర్స్ మరియు జర్నలిజం మొదలగు రంగాలలో భవిష్యత్తులో స్థిరపడాలనుకొన్న వారికి చాలా బాగా ఉపయోగపడుతుంది.
